“This very body, the dharma body. The dharma body, the whole of the world”, Dogen.

Many of us spend years looking outside of ourselves for meaning. However, as Dogen reminds us, it is only by turning fully towards our own psychophysical experience that truth can be recognised. On this retreat, we will foster an intimate and loving relationship with our own moment to moment experience of ourselves, paying particular attention to noticing that our bodies are naturally extended into the world and can provide us with a direct experience of non-separation from this world.

Testimonials from previous participants

“Sitting with Paramananda feels like a blessing, and some of the most beautiful meditative openings that I’ve had have come with him. Body-based, soulful, poetic and human. This is complimented by the environment of Rivendell, with the flowers of the garden, the woods, the deer – a wonderful place to practice.”
