Embodied Buddhism is at the heart of this retreat which invites you to play in the in-between; the dynamic space where we see and are seen by Nature. Within wilderness guiding this is called The Mirror of Nature.

Perception is not a one-way process in which we observe the world passively from a monoculture of “oneness,” but an active dynamic relationship, The Mirror of Nature provides a profound opportunity to remember a long-forgotten way of being: noticing life noticing us, noticing it with us.

Through meditation, nature-based rituals and immersive practices in nature, we’ll move beyond above-the-neck concepts of interconnectedness to a living, felt sensing of the here and now, where nothing can be separated from anything else…

Our Sacred Belonging.

Our time together will be predominantly experiential with a lot of direct experiencing, shaped by Buddhist practice, my work as a wilderness guide and focusing-with-nature facilitator. And my love of Dakinis.
