Meditation on breathing is used in many ways in Buddhist tradition: for developing awareness, relaxing deeply, healing the body, becoming sensitive to energy, opening the heart, and developing insight into how things are. During this week, we shall explore using the breath in all these ways, inviting ourselves to become more alive and awake.

The retreat will be largely in silence, with presentations from Vessantara and Advayasiddhi, guided meditations, meditation reviews, ritual and puja.

RETREAT CATEGORY: TRIRATNA INTENSIVE

To attend this retreat you will need to have been regularly meditating for at least two years and regularly attend retreats, a centre or a group within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community. You must also be comfortable with extended periods of sitting meditation, Buddhist devotional practice and spending most of the retreat in silence.

Please read our booking and cancellation policies and FAQs before booking.
